My awesome friend Laurel is proudly displaying her art at the Bistro. I meant to post this announcement on First Friday, which was her official opening night, but as usual in matters like this I spaced it.
There’s really no good reason not to go. (Don’t live in Fort Bragg? Visit! Don’t live in California? There’s no time like the present to see the myriad wonders of the golden state. Don’t live in the United States? Hey, the dollar’s weak right now, come take advantage of the half-off sale! Dead? What, have you never heard of haunting?) Laurel’s art is fucking amazing. That’s right, so amazing that it requires a fucking. She really is wicked talented and you, too, could be a proud owner of a Laurel original. The show really displays her wide range of talents as an artist, as well as being stunning to look at. Seeing her work on deviantART gives you an idea of what it’s like–actually being present before it in person is like being kicked in the gut by a giant camel.
In addition, after you are done feasting you eyes on art, you can feast your stomach on food, and that’s nothing to sneeze at, right there.
