Candy Cap

Tonight, I experienced one of the tastiest foods ever.

Now, I adore candy cap mushrooms. I love candy cap ice cream, for example.

But tonight, I had candy cap creme brulee. Try to imagine creme brulee, only creamier, if possible, and with an effervescent maple flavour that just reaches into your mouth and fills it with goodness. I had a scoop of thai iced tea granita, and it was the perfect complement. Creamy and a little bit spicy and over it all the crust of the creme brulee and the maple-ness. Good god. I would have taken a picture, but I ate it too quickly.
