Several years ago I made myself a black forest birthday cake (preparations started about a week ahead of time) - my husband lectured me that he felt bad I 'had' to bake it myself. It was really weird to see the difference in what baking a cake for onesself meant. For me, it was one of the best parts of the celebration. that sounds really dangerous!
